Producers casted Sydney for the role 2 months after the start of casting. “We searched throughout Canada to find the right Monica and for a while it looked a bit bleak…but then 2 months later Sydney came along.”-Director Jefferson Mesidor.

The irony is that Sydney was hand picked to play the role of Monica for Idiots=Product+Money by its Director at the time but then declined the role offer. Fortunately for the IPM online universe Sydney did make it after all to Idiots Product & Money 2 where she sizzles on screen as an over the top American girl who really believes that she is a French Canadian girl.
